Site Maps Increase Search Engine Traffic
One key to search engine success is having a large web site with lots of content. A common problem for websites is all the interior pages that Google cannot find. It is worth the time and trouble to help Google find all the interior pages of your web site. One technique we use successfully is a site map.
Site maps are valuable as search tools for your visitors and also help search engines. By creating a site map you are building a page that is similar to a table of contents. The site map links to your homepage and has the same look as your website, but includes text links to all of the pages and pop-ups on your website. This makes it easier for search engines like Google to index your entire website, not just the homepage. Search engines are reading the keyword rich titles from your pages and pop-ups that are included in the site map and in turn finding more relevant information on your website for your visitors. This drives more traffic to your website, which is the ultimate goal of all our services.
Due to the diverse levels of optimization and size, the cost of the site map differs with each website. To view an example of a site map, check out http://www.chla.com/sitemap/sitemap.htm or http://www.blizzardinternet.com/sitemap.htm
