One way to save on an avenue to get into Yahoo Travel is to list in two of its "Best of Breed" directories, which the Yahoo editors monitor for content. If the editors find a listing in 2 directories, they'll include the property in Yahoo Travel. http://www.bbdirectory.com is one such directory. http://www.bedandbreakfast.com is another.

Yahoo Search was the biggest surprise for me this year. It averages less than 1/3 of the cost per keyword combination compared to Google and achieved a higher page rank so far this year. I still plan on using both, but it's been a very nice surprise for my business this year. I'm not sure if it's so strong because not as many people are using the service or because it's new. Whatever the reason, it's been a very solid producer for me this year.
