Page saturation or search engine saturation refers to the number of pages that a search engine recognizes for your website. Search engines reward websites that have a large number of pages. You want them to find every page of your site through your navigation and/or site map. There are quite a few things you can gather from this information.

Search Engine Saturation Report

  1. How many pages and which pages of your site are showing up in the search engines? Are the search engines not seeing certain sections of your website? Once you have determined what the engines are seeing, you can work to include those pages that were not found.
  2. You can also view how your competitors sites measure up. If their site has a greater saturation numbers, you can use their site as a benchmark for improving your own.

Not all of the search engines report this kind of information, but enough of them do that you can find some interesting information about your site. You can check your site’s Search Engine Saturation at www.marketleap.com.
