Offering Internet access is a must-have for those targeting business travelers to increase occupancy.  Even in vacation destinations, the misconception that using the Internet means "working" is going away.  Many Innkeepers and Hoteliers comment that “visitors come to my location to get away from it all”.  While this may be true, many people still want to e-mail family members, bid on eBay, plan a day of adventures, research local real estate, make a dinner reservation, check-in to a flight, and upload vacation photos.  Frequently, guests want to check e-mail for ten minutes IN ORDER to relax.  Having the peace of mind that everything is OK at home or work often translates into a more relaxing day.

Once you’re ready to get started, make sure to cover the basics: security, support, legal disclaimers, good coverage, and a professional, reliable solution.  The only thing worse than not having the solution is missing your customers’ expectations with a solution that doesn’t meet their needs.
