The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) business is a revolutionary way to market a business in the hospitality industry, and it is establishing a lexicon all its own.

A sampling:

Green Fairy Dust - A synonym for Google Page Rank. Page Rank (PR) is displayed in green on the Google Tool Bar, and some think it has magical powers to lift a website in the SERPs. The term is believed to have been coined by search engine optimizer and author, Mike Grehan, of Smart Interactive.

Inlink - Yahoo’s term for a link pointing to a website; these are also often called “backlinks”.

Glink - Blizzard Internet Marketing’s term for a Google-recognized backlink.
