  • Online travel spending is about to make a significant dent in the billion-dollar industry with over $125 billion in total spending on the Internet by the year 2011 (By comparison, 2006 accumulated $49 billion.) Like the return on your online investments right now? Be prepared to double your profits.

These advertising outlets are exploding! Guess who specializes in marketing to both these very lucrative search engines? Yours truly, Blizzard
  • Print newspaper sales may be dropping fasting than the Ball in Times Square, but online news outlets are flourishing fast. Online newspaper readers spend more money than those who do not read online, usually $1,000 annually. Do you have a banner ad in your local online paper? What about other location target markets? Do visitors in your Blizzard Tracker originate from newspaper websites? Check it out and start gaining some traffic from local online resources.
  • MSN is losing ground with a 12% drop in traffic from 2005. It only covets less than 9% of all searches made on the Internet. The good news: computer owners are getting savvier. • Martin Olausson of Strategy Analytics says,”2007 will be remembered as the year in which online sales of prerecorded video finally become a real business.” Do you have online tours of your property? What about your rooms? Now is the time! Of those surveyed, more than 60% said they accessed online videos at least once a week. Some 70% of respondents also said they preferred webcasts to other types of online video.
  • Have a new business, or new website? Need some help with public relations? Edelman’s most recent findings indicate a blog maintained on your website and managed by employees rather than upper-level management is your best for success.
