Last month, as published in the Houston Chronicle, Pauline Frommer named the Top 10 Holiday Destinations to Remember. Pauline is the daughter of acclaimed travel guru Arthur Frommer who is responsible for bringing the Frommer’s Guides to the hands of travelers everywhere. Pauline has followed in her father’s footsteps creating the new Pauline Frommer’s Travel Guides.

The list of the Top 10 is a list of destinations that will provide a memorable and exciting holiday vacation. Here’s the list:

1. Santa Fe, New Mexico
2. London
3. Las Vegas
4. Branson, Missouri
5. Rio de Janeiro
6. New York City
7. Rome
8. Puerto Rico
9. New Orleans
10. Sydney, Australia

Each location was chosen based on holiday festivities, lights and other great activities. My personal favorite on the list is New Orleans which highlights bonfires along the Mississippi River and street parties on Jackson Square for New Year’s Eve.
