Plugged In - Blizzard Spotlight on Danielle Rozga
Carrie Hill | 2 April 2008 |
This weeks’ Plugged-In feature-ette is the amazing Danielle Rozga. Even though she’s working from Durango these days - her dedication to her clients and her general awesome-ness shines through - even via IM :) Her cute pup Mollie is sorely missed, as is she, but at least we can IM her constantly, every day, 10 times a day - plus phone calls, and emails….and……..
So sit down with a cup of coffee and meet:
Your Title with Blizzard: Project Manager
How long have you worked for Blizzard? Almost 3 years
What are your goals for 2008?
Professionally, my goal for 2008 is to continue to develop my expertise in Project Management, through continued experience, reading, research, training, and anything I can get my hands on!
Personally, my goal for 2008 is to watch a little less reality tv, and head to the gym a little more!
What aspect of your job keeps you coming to work every day?
The people! My clients and my fellow Blizzard employees.
Favorite Quote?
“More Cowbell”…..enough said. CH: I have no idea what are you talking about :))

What is your favorite part of working at Blizzard?
Again - the people make Blizzard a great place to work!
What is your favorite Movie?
“Stand By Me” is one of my all-time favorite movies. And the latest “Pride & Prejudice”, I could watch that a million times.
Favorite Song?
My wedding song of course! John Legend’s “Stay With You”
Favorite Book?
Oooohhh- this is a tough one. Right now, I am reading about every book on Marie Antoinette I can find (and I still hold out hope that her fate is changed in everyone, but no one wants to rewrite history!)
Favorite Food?
Tuna Casserole (yes, I admit it.) CH: tuna is not food - canned fish is evil
Favorite Neil Diamond Song?
Seriously, you Neil Diamond fans are crazy! If there is one person I could NOT meet, it would be Neil Diamond. Sorry!

Hi Daniellle,
Maybe you should explain the cowbell thing. ;>)(
I think that Neil Diamond may indeed have a home up in Basalt. Maybe we could arrange an introduction.

Danielle is truly the best - I know that everyone that works with her, including colleagues and clients, would agree!
Not only is she super star smart, everything she touches is made better, and she is a blast to be around! We are lucky to have her on Team Blizzard!
P.S. – D, I’m with you on Neil Diamond, why couldn’t we share our favorite NKOTB song?
P.S.S. - My favorite is Hanging Tough.

Danielle, I think I would have kept the whole tuna casserole to myself if I were you! And, c’mon, who couldn’t listen to “Kentucky Woman” every day? “Cracklin’ Rosie”? “Love on the Rocks”?
It was great to see you in the office this week!
p.s. - Jill, there has never been a good NKOTB song. Ever. :-)

Geesh - “More Cowbell” - Will Ferrell, Christpoher Walken, SNL…it even has an entire wikipedia page… Youtube has an ok version, I like this one better: http://www.dork.tv/view/More+cowbell+Blue+Oyster+Cult+SNL+Skit.html
I know, tuna casserole was brutal honesty. I cringed a little when I saw that.
And NKOTB is awesome. Don’t deny it people.

Yeah I have to agree with Carrie in that Tuna Casserole is evil, maybe being forced to eat it when I was kid has something to do with it. Ick!
I am not sure if I even know of a Neil Diamond song, but I must confess I did have an NKOTB tie-dye t-shirt and I even made my mom buy me British Knight high tops just b/c Knight was Jordan and Jon’s last name, haha ;)
