We just attended the NEIRA conference in Chatham, Massachusetts — which is on Cape Cod. This is one of the best conferences in the industry: it has excellent educational sessions, lots of tasty food, camraderie and some fun activities like a golf outing.

The meeting this year was at Chatham Bars Inn. Last year it was at Sebasco Harbor Resort.

If you own or manage an inn, hotel or resort in New England, this is an organization you should give considerable thought to joining. They work hard to promote their members. As a webmaster, we like our clients to join this association because it typically sends hundreds of visitors each year to our clients website.  Of course, they also offer many other membership benefits.

The New England Inns and Resorts Association was founded nearly a century ago. Today, the more than 300 member properties include small bed and breakfasts, hotels, inns, motels, as well as grand resorts in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
