A nice and neat presentation here, Trent. By the way, have you ever heard the rumor that the “No follow” links also had been included into the PR’s consideration as well?

Yea, I have. Couldn’t say whether it is true… I try to get listings in places, first and foremost, that drive qualified traffic or where the listings themselves will rank in search engines. So, if there is a no follow, no problem.

Trent – I think your response to Wilson was the best advice out of the whole thing. Whilst PR is important, people get ‘lost’ in it and forget about what it is they are trying to achieve (in most cases), Ie, make money. A lot of people do understand page rank but don’t know how to value a link. As you say, PR and link value can be, and in fact are, completely different.

Nice organized presentation. There’s a few different techniques for getting to the front page of google like backlinking with particular keywords. You sound uncertain about some of your info though, perhaps you should look up the info.
It’s all about trial and error and learning
