The seem like a slam-dunk to a property manager. As a traveller, I am weary of hotel cards that die if they get close to my cell-phone. I always get and carry two, because invariably one will stop working (apparently cell phones and credit cards kill hotel key-cards.). I have seen these locks too, and was impressed.
