Use Google AdWord’s Ad Sitelinks For Better Results

Google AdWord’s new Ad Sitelinks lets you turbo-charge your AdWords with additional links to pages within your site.

The advantage for you  is that more people will click through to your site if you offer them a few additional targeted options.  Plus, your ad stands out against competitors who are less savvy than you and haven’t taken a few moments to set up this feature (which doesn’t cost any additional money).

When you set this up, your ads will look like this:

One Caveat is that Google only shows these sitelinks if your ad appears at the top of the search results.

You can set up Ad Sitelinks in the Campaign Settings tab. Advertisers no longer need Google’s approval to set up Ad Sitelinks for their campaigns.

Comments

  1. One other interesting note. Google is a little, well a lot, less strict on the language for SiteLiks. It means you can use more superlatives and exclamation points (!). Things you can’t always do in typical AdWords text ads.

That may change soon, so best to push the limits while you can.

Also, you need to have a “good” quality score on the ad/keyword combination ;)

  3. More convenient to use Google Maps!
