Matt Creer
What’s your favorite book? Why?
Although I’ve read many books since that I’ve enjoyed just as much, I’d have to say The Catcher in the Rye because it’s such a compact, tight story that most people can relate to.
What’s the most unique/unusual job you’ve ever had?
Electrofishing for Colorado River Cutthroat trout in local high country streams. We’d then ship them to the University of Montana for DNA analysis to determine their purity – cutthroats tend to dilute their genes by crossbreeding with rainbow trout.
If you could do anything for a profession, what would it be?
If I had Bill Gate’s-type money, I’d start my own space program.
Are you a “morning person” or a “night owl”?
I have always preferred the solitude and peacefulness of the hour or two before everyone else wakes up.
Given the choice, would you prefer to bike, walk or drive for every day transportation?
I would love to be able to walk to work everyday – and the grocery store, post office, library, etc. for that matter.
