Mary Bowling
What do you consider to be your greatest talent/asset?
For most things, I can see the big picture, the relationships between things and how they effect each other.
What’s the most unique/unusual job you’ve ever had?
Maybe bait girl on a fishing party boat when I was 14 - cutting up chum, baiting hooks (usually for grown men) gaffing bluefish, cleaning fish and swabbing the blood, guts and vestiges of seasickness off the decks.
What’s the most unique/unusual dwelling you’ve lived in?
A sailboat.
What’s the one bit of advice you’ve gotten in life that’s been of most value?
Be careful what you reward people for.
Do you live by any particular motto or creed?
Karma.
Are you a “morning person” or a “night owl”?
I wake up early with my mind racing and then I hit the floor running.
Given the choice, would you prefer to bike, walk or drive for every day transportation?
Fatty, my mountain bike, is my preferred mode of transportation. I bike or walk to work about 90% of the time. I even run my raft shuttles via bicycle, whenever possible.
