I was born in New Jersey and moved to the Denver area with my family when I was eight. I relocated to the western slope of Colorado about 15 years ago with my first husband and two daughters. After my divorce, I started taking some general college classes, but kicked things into high gear in the spring of 2003 when I started going full time. I should graduate after the upcoming Spring Semester with an Associates’ Degree in Applied Science for Graphic Design.
I met Fred, now my husband, and moved to Paonia, Colorado for a while. I returned to Glenwood when my oldest daughter had her first baby; I have three grand children now, all of whom live in Moab, Utah. Fred and I lived together for some time, then got married in Las Vegas last May. I went to school in Denver for a short while and got my feet wet in Graphic Design. After that, I was fortunate enough to be hired by a very small monthly publication. It was great hands on experience because I was the entire Art Department! I’ve also worked for a couple of newspapers, including the Citizen Telegram (a regional paper) about ten years ago. I have also worked in print shops handling the pre-press end of things.
At Blizzard, I mostly handle simple website changes and speak to clients on the telephone when they call with change requests. I enjoy working with clients and learning to utilize my graphic design experience in a web environment.
