Search Engine Marketing Workshop for Hospitality Marketers

Pointe South Vacation Rentals Gets New Website

Pointe South Vacation Rentals is a vacation rental management company servicing Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach, Florida.

A primary goal of their new website was to integrate a booking engine with a live XML feed from their First Resort property management software.  The booking engine:

  • Displays live data on the website via the ISIlink XML API (lot of acronoyms there!)
  • Is very search engine friendly
  • Processes bookings in real-time
  • Is easy to add descriptive text, photos and rich media to individual properties
  • Tracks ROI through Google Analytics
  • Offers usability enhancements like save to favorites, mapping, and integrated property reviews via Flipkey

The entire website is built on a WordPress content management platform. This makes it easy for Pointe South to update all of their content on their website. Plus, that platform performs pretty well in search engines.
