A recent report at MSNBC reports that a study by Nielsen/Net Ratings found that more than 75 percent of Web users, in November, accessed the Internet through a high-speed broadband connection.    The study showed that 78 percent of residential Internet viewers were using broadband, which is a 13 point rise from 2005.

The research also shows that broadband users spent 33 percent more time online than dial-up users and they also viewed twice as many Web pages.
