Blizzard Tracker News - Scenario Analysis

Scenario Analysis is a powerful new feature that is included in the upcoming version of Blizzard Tracker ROI Edition. With this tool, you can define specific paths that a visitor might take to a conversion (such as a sale). The Scenario Analysis report will then provide you with statistics showing at which step visitors abandoned the process. High abandonment rates at certain steps may indicate a weakness in navigation, form usability, page content, or the offer. When you identify these weaknesses and take steps to reduce the abandonment rate, you can increase your online sales.

If your subscription to Blizzard Tracker ROI Edition started tracking after May 31 of this year, you will receive this new feature without interrupted services. It will be implemented some time during the fourth quarter.

Logging in to Blizzard Tracker
This year has been a year of change, as we have introduced a succession of new, enhanced versions of Blizzard Tracker. As a result, the URL of your login screen depends upon which version you are on. You will soon find a single login button on our tracker home page, www.blizzardtracker.com. This will lead you to a multiple choice page. From there, clicking on the appropriate link will take you to the correct login page for your tracker. We don’t want you to have to jump through all those hoops every time you log in, so we are encouraging everyone to bookmark the login page once you get there. Please call us if you have questions about logging in.

Introducing Hosted Edition II
This section applies only to those Blizzard customers who host their web sites with us and who subscribe to the original Blizzard Tracker, now called Hosted Edition.

Many of you noticed performance issues with the Hosted Edition during August and early September. These slowdowns were apparently due to the large volume of log data that was being stored and analyzed on the server. A software upgrade and extensive file maintenance did not completely resolve the issue.

In response, we implemented Hosted Edition II, with a more robust code base and an improved user interface. Many of you have already been moved to this new version. The customer response has been very positive. If you are experiencing problems with your hosted tracker, please call us. We are committed to providing you with reliable web site tracking services.
