HTML Code Validator

Use this tool from the Web Design Group (WDG) to validate the HTML code on individual pages of your travel website or across the entire website. Code validation is important when previewing new designs in order to prevent problems in appearance and functionality when the site goes live.

It is not unusual to find errors in existing sites, especially those that several people have worked on, because changes are made in different ways by different web masters. If there are no problems with seeing or using the site, errors may not be an issue.

However, errors can affect how quickly and easily search engine spiders can crawl a site, so advanced SEO requires greater attention to code details. Errors may have some impact on how frequently and how deeply a website is crawled and “clean” code may be rewarded slightly by Google.
