New words are continually being added to the vocabulary of the web. Here are a few of the latest terms used to describe black hat (not sanctioned, dishonest) SEO tactics:

Spamglish - Keyword-rich gibberish that doesn’t make sense to humans. It is usually the result of automated programs used to build content.

Thin Affiliate
- A Google term for a website that exists only to to generate advertising revenue for it’s owner. It doesn’t offer content or anything that is unique, and does not provide value for the user.

Pagejacking - Stealing content from a website and placing it on another website.

Sploggling - Stealing content from a website and placing it on a blog.

A good site about black hat SEO companies and tactics is http://www.blackhatseo.com/html/. They have a list of bad SEO companies, programs, and tactics. Avoid these at all costs. Oh and if you get a phone call from one of the companies say no. Make sure to call us and tell us about it too so we can add the information to our files.
