Question: How can I tell when my domain name is going to expire?

Answer: The best way to check the expiration date for your domain is to do a "whois" search on the website of your domain registrar (Network Solutions, GoDaddy, TuCows, Register.com, etc); there is generally a link from the homepage to "whois". To do a quick check for most domain names, visit the InterNIC website at http://www.internic.net/whois.html. From the InterNIC, you can obtain the most basic information about your domain name including the registrar, the registration date and the expiration date.

Question: How many email addresses do I get with my hosting account? Is there a way I can check my email while traveling?

Answer: Each Blizzard Internet hosting service includes 10 email addresses at your domain name (email@yourname.com). We will setup more than 10 email addresses for you, but we may charge extra to walk you through the setup of the addresses on your computer(s).
We do have a web-based email solution for customers to use while traveling; however this will only work for customers with POP accounts. For login information, please send an email to support@blizzardinternet.com.

Question: What is the difference between email forwarding and an email POP account?

Answer: Email forwarding simply means that when an email is addressed to your domain name (email@yourname.com) the message is automatically redirected to another email address. This process occurs as your mail enters our mail server; a copy of the message is not stored on the server.
A POP account will keep the message(s) addressed to your domain name on the mail server until your computer connects to the server to download the mail. This is generally done using an email program such as Outlook Express or Eudora (although there are hundreds of possible email programs).
