Take advantage of the Social Internet with the variety of Blizzard’s existing plans, including Web 2.0. Blizzard Internet Marketing has developed two new products in addition to our existing Blizzard Live program.

Blizzard Live is an exciting service that involves the concept of Web 2.0 and word-of-mouth advertising. Blizzard Live Web 2.0 focuses on the social interaction and software platforms being shared by the masses such as youtube, flickr, TripAdvisor, and Blogging. Websites now have the ability to share social preferences, opinions, reviews, photos, videos and personal experiences while creating online relationships. Hospitality consumers are basing travel decisions on feedback they receive and reviews they read from these online resources and communities.

Blizzard offers three options for tackling the increasingly popular Social Internet.

Blog development and build out: Beef up your website with a blog featuring area attractions, guest comments, maps, and more. Search engines and online visitors appreciate the added content and value of this information.
Services in this plan include:

  • Blog Design and maintenance
  • Optional on-site visit of Account Manager
  • Weekly Blog posts and RSS feeds (52 posts per year)
  • Managing comments

This is offered to our clients who currently have a blog or will have one set up. The Blog base allows our client to become an online local expert and resource, in addition to offering an opportunity for the community to participate and benefit.

The Glenwood Blog is a perfect example of the service we provide with our Blog Development and Build Out plan. The Glenwood Blog increased quickly in search engine results and appears for a wide variety of keywords related to Glenwood Springs. This is a one-year plan that can be renewed at this level or with the Web 2.0 SEO Strategy.

Web 2.0 SEO Strategy: Be proactive in what your guests are saying about your property in the many facets of the Social Internet. Blizzard will post comments about our stay at your property and report to you on how to increase positive guest comments in the future.
Services in this plan include:

  • On-site visit of Account Manager who will take photos, videos and experience area attractions
  • Submission of promotional videos and photos to Social Internet resources such as youtube and flickr
  • Branding of your website through posts to review sites such as TripAdvisor
  • Research to find established, relevant Blogs to participate in

This is a SEO link building plan that will include 50 links. Uploading videos and photos, writing posts and establishing links are all integrated. This is a one-year plan that can be renewed at this level or with the Blog Development and Build Out Strategy.

Blizzard LIVE! Combines both of these plans. Go full force in the Social Internet and manage your online word-of-mouth advertising by adding a blog to your website and posts in reputable Social Internet sites.
Services in this plan include:

  • On-site visit of Account Manager who will take photos, videos and experience area attractions
  • Blog design and maintenance
  • Blog training and assistance in managing
  • Helping to build out your website by adding content to the Blog
  • Encourage customers, staff and community to contribute

Blizzard Live is a Word-of-Mouth Promotional Strategy that strives to expand your market base by gaining more exposure within the social network. We will participate in the Social Internet through your blog and interact in the online communities related to your area and services. This is a one-year renewable plan offered to our aggressive Enterprise and Comprehensive clients.

Blizzard Live facilitates our client’s growth in the online social marketing facet. The result will increase online exposure with higher traffic, strengthen brand recognition and help to develop your relationships in the community with free online resources.
